How the estimate works
Whatnot commission uses the item sale price. US processing is 2.9% of the item price plus buyer-paid shipping and sales tax, plus $0.30 per order. Buyer-paid shipping and tax are not added to your earnings.
Profit is the sale price minus platform fees, cost of goods, your seller’s commission and other entered costs. Fee components are rounded to cents; reconcile the result against the actual order receipt.
Which rate should I enter?
Use the rate on your Seller Hub order. Category, sales tier and promotions can change commission. Coins start at 4%; many other US categories start at 8%. This tool does not determine your tier or apply special processing promotions.
