Short answer
Open the show report from ScanStation's Packing list menu. It puts this show next to the previous one (items sold, sales, bundles, undos, show and selling time, items per minute, sales per hour, the busiest 15 minutes and the top 10 items) with all-time totals for that computer.
What the show report shows
The show report is new in ScanStation 1.0.37. It's built from the items you scanned, so there's nothing to fill in, and it shows this show and the previous one side by side:
- Items sold: every item sold, less undos. A bundle of 3 is 3 items.
- Sales: a bundle is 1 sale. Bundles: sales with 2 or more items.
- Undos: items you took back.
- Show time: from the first item sold to the last.
- Selling time: show time without breaks. A gap of more than 10 minutes between two items is left out.
- Items per minute and sales per hour, over selling time.
- The busiest 15 minutes: the most items sold in any 15 minutes, with the clock times.
- Top items: the 10 titles that sold the most.
Below that is the all-time total for that computer: items sold, in how many shows. There are no prices in the report, and Test Mode items are left out of every number.
Items and sales are different numbers
A bundle of three items is 1 sale and 3 items. Items sold is how much stock left the table; sales is how many orders you have to pack. The scan screen now counts a show the same way, for example “8 sales, 10 items”.
Pace your shows
Selling time is the number to compare from show to show. Time before your first sale isn't counted, and breaks over 10 minutes are left out, so a pause to reset the table doesn't drag down your items per minute. The busiest 15 minutes shows when the show peaked.
See what to restock
Top items lists titles the way the packing list names them, so each size or variant gets its own line, and generic items you described are counted by what you typed. Check it after each show to see what to restock before the next one.
Name each show and its seller
When you open ScanStation and start a new show, it asks for a show name and a seller. Both are optional and filled in from the last show, with the sellers used on that computer one click away. You can change them any time from the line at the top of the show's list.
The name and seller go on the packing list, the show report and their file names, such as “2026-10-08 Friday Night Show - Sam - report.csv”. Both CSV downloads end with Show, Seller and Date columns, so a renamed file still says which show it was. They stay on that computer: ScanStation doesn't send them anywhere.
Compare shows and sellers
The report covers this show and the previous one. To look further back, keep each show's report CSV (one row per item, ending with the show, seller and date) and put the files together in a spreadsheet to see which shows and sellers move the most items. Each computer keeps its own report, so if two computers sell in one show, each reports its own items.
Print it or download it
The report opens in its own window. Print gives a black-and-white page for Letter or A4 paper, and Download CSV saves this show's items, one row each.
